All Star team – “We are the dream team”

Greetings summoners!

Did you vote for your favorite LCS player to fight for the European honor in the All Star matches? If you did, congratulations! If you did not, be ashamed ;) . Since voting time is over, I will be discussing the players here. I will also compare with North American All Star team. I don’t know yet who is going to play for the Korean team, but I will be adding that information later. So let us get started!

Top Lane

33.2 % of the voters voted on

EU top lane will be playing against Dyrus from TSM. Dyrus is a really strong player so this won’t be easy for sOAZ. But I think if he plays safe and wait for the good moment to engage, sOAZ will do just fine.

In the jungle we got  of the votes, which is 20 % more then second pick Snoopeh. Everyone who follows LCS games regularly will admit that Diamondprox is the strongest jungler in the EU LCS at the moment. He is well known for his Lee Sin and Shyvanna early game counter -jungle. He will be playing against Saintvicious. I am really looking forward to see these two players competing against each other because they are, in my opinion, the two best junglers in season 3. Will Diamondprox’s counter-jungle be enough to beat the unpredictable Saintvicious?

Mid Lane

Mid lane got dominated by 3 players: Alech Ich, xPeke and Froggen. EG member Froggen was on first place in the beginning of the contest, but after a while, xPeke and Alech Ich jumped over him and left him behind. In the end, Alecx Ich won with less then 1 % difference from xPeke (Known for his spectacular backdoors). Alech Ich is known for playing some AD Assassins mid such as Zed and Khaz’ix and for playing tanky champions in the mid lane (Malphite). Alex Ich will be playing against Scarra from team Dignitas. Scarra won with 35 % more votes then the second best Reginald.

My guess will be that they both are going to play very aggressive so we might see some awesome plays in that mid lane!

AD Carry

of the votes. So normally, he would represent Europe as an AD Carry BUT since only 3 members of the same team are allowed in the All Star team this will be a problem. Diamondprox, Genja, EDward and Alex Ich are all members of Gambit BenQ. So my best guess is that Riot will replace Genja with and was second best in the AD Carry votes. We will have to wait until they make a decision about that.

For now we can only say that one of these two will be playing against Doublelift, the AD Carry of CLG. He has some good AD Carry mechanics! I suggest you keep an eye on Doublelift!

of the votes. His  ”Thresh Prince” skills can become very handy in these games so maybe the other teams might think over a Thresh ban while playing against this fella. EDward will be playing against Xspecial, support for team TSM.
